Naomi Washer is the author of the novel Subjects We Left Out and the Editor of Ghost Proposal. She is also the author of Trainsongs, American Girl Doll, Phantoms, and a translation of Sebastián Jiménez Galindo’s Experimental Gardening Manual. Her work has appeared widely in journals, including Entropy, Seneca Review, Asymptote, and Essay Daily. She has been awarded fellowships from Yaddo, Vermont Studio Center, Columbia College Chicago, and several artist residencies throughout France and Italy. She lives in Manhattan.
